The Google Docs Backup tool was released earlier this year as a fast and convenient way for Google Apps users to download their documents from Google Docs into a local folder or network drive. The tool maintains the folder structure used in Docs, and offers multiple formats for administrators to export users’ documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
